Definitely a step up from the pick n pluck foam or padded dividers. I have the TrekPak insert for the 1510 and decided to get it for my 1560 as well. It's even more expensive, I guess since the case is bigger but you don't really get much more from it. There weren't even enough dividers to go entirely across the case the shorter way three times, forcing me to cobble some together from smaller pieces and pins.
If it was cheaper and came with one more piece of divider, it'd be five stars for sure. And the system is so good I will probably keep buying these inserts for all my future cases, begrudgingly.

I have 2 1510's with the inserts & they are great but I was running out of room in the cases & moved on to a 1560 - happy to see TrekPak had the insert & I jumped on it. It's bomber, modular, highly efficient etc... might have to do my closet drawers next ;-]

Great product but really felt I should have received more dividers to cut from.

Leider kein Standort in Europa - so entstehen hohe Versandkosten.
There is no Chance to Order (a1560) in Europe. The shipping costs is expensive, but no other product keeps your Equipment save. For the Range very fast delivery (only a few Days) to Germany. With smaller stripes I built a second layer

I'd give a five star review, but then I would sound like a fanboy and I did have a couple of slight difficulties.
I ordered the pre-cut option and for the most part I am happy with it. I love the space it creates versus pick-n-pluck. (Although I did use some leftover foam from that to fill spaces for some of my smaller lenses like my 50mm and 28mm.
I'll likely add a rolli-pak at some point for some flexibility, but right now, I have room for a 150-600mm, D750 w/battery grip, the 50, the 28, a large amount of Cokin-style filters and other accessories AND I still have a big section that I don't know what to do with. (My spare body and lenses are in a different pack and with my wife right now.)
My suggestion that would make this a 5-star review is if the package came with some example layouts. I LOVE the freedom of laying things out, but there are some "tricks" I learned along the way. For example, some things fit only if they are on the "outside" of a perpendicular piece as opposed to the "inside."
The freedom to design is Lego-like in a good way. But some example layouts would be awesome.
My suggestion for laying things out is this: Place the outer walls first, then gather all your gear. Set it in your Pelican without any dividers. This allows you to move freely. Start with the largest item.
Try to keep the more expensive items towards the middle (not as easy with longer lenses.)
Don't be afraid to break out of the 90 degree angle world. You can curve pieces and pin them at angles to better fit your equipment.
Overall, the space savings, the flexibility, this product is great. I do wish I had more pieces to work with, and that's why I'll be ordering a rolli-pak and cutter. I'm going to love tailoring the layout to my specific goal.
I'll definitely be ordering for my smaller Pelican boxes too.
Did I mention that it looks really cool? Because it does.

This inserts are amazing.
It took me a while to figure out the best arrangement for my camera equipment, and it would have been great to have a couple extra inserts.
Other than that, is a great product

Great product, just wish there was some sort of instructions either with the item or on this site.
I found instructions on your kickstarter at
(yes, I know it is just a liner, how complicated could it be to install? Probably as easy as to make instructions on installation.)

I really like this product and also wrote a review for the Rolli Pak 72 where I talk about getting so many dividers that I could outfit TWO bags!
However, in the 1560 I barley got them to last. There could have been just a couple more and I would have been fine. Now I have to make some ugly links to make it all fit.
Other than that, great!!
