Great quality and means I can get everything in a 1510 rather than split into 2 cases. Loses one star as had to import to UK which with shipping & taxes doubles the cost.
Please get a UK distributer and I will buy more!

Having a TrekPak setup in my case was the best thing for my gear! With the liners being customizable, I was able to make custom "cubbies" for all my gear. Very happy with the product and I'd definitely recommend to a friend.

I purchased the TrekPak divider kit to replace the padded divider that came with the Pelican 1510 case. I can honestly say that I gain more space, my guesstimate is about 10% to 15% more. I also noticed that that the TrekPak retains less or no humidity compare to the padded one. My assumption is based on having a hygrometer in the case and a couple of rechargeable pelican desiccant cases/packs. It was taking longer for the packs to absorb the humidity inside the box when I had the padded dividers compare to the TrekPak. It was probably because of the cloth-like(polyester or nylon) material on the padded dividers.

I've been a Trek Pak user since the beginning and had recent acquired a new camera.
I ordered a Pelican 1510, and the Trek Pak Insert and was surprised to see what showed up. The new Trek Pak as I say it, is several long pieces that are not pre cut. This included a cutting tool, which works amazingly well.
In the past, you had pre-cut pieces you needed to figure out how to use and always had extras after I was done. With this new system, I can truly put together the ultimate in gear storage, in exactly the manner I wanted.
My Red Epic-W 8K camera thanks you!

Let me start by saying the Pelican 1510 insert is the third one I've purchased, having previously bought the RolliPak 48 for a backpack, and the Pelican 1650 inserts. Clearly I like the product. How much do I like it? When I got an email from TrekPak telling me this insert set was on sale, I purchased it immediately. Without actually owning the Pelican 1510 case. Yep. I like TrekPak products that much. (For the record, it was a great price - $87.97 with free shipping).
So I went out and bought the Pelican 1510 case ($110 without foam on jet.com) and how do I like my 1510 kit? It's exactly as I would expect, which is a good thing. I can keep everything packed nice and tight, and the padding is just enough to keep things safe, without wasting space. I had plenty of pins and a small amount (maybe 10") of the dividers left over, but as I said, I packed it pretty tight. (I'll list everything in the case at the end of my review). If you plan on dividing the case length-wise, I would probably purchase the dedicated divider they sell.
So why only 4 stars? The only negative about this kit is that the provided foam doesn't completely cover the wheel wells at the bottom, or the recessed space at the top for the pull-out handle. In my case, both issues are minor because I was able to place items that were already padded (or weren't fragile) in those spots. But I could see how it could be a problem for another user with a different layout. Otherwise, I think it's a great product, and won't hesitate to purchase this insert or any other inserts I might need in the future.
So what's in my case? This is my mobile portrait kit: Canon 5D3 with battery grip, Canon SL1 with 24mm Pancake, 2 Pelican memory card cases (CF & SD), EF 24-70mm 2.8L II, EF 70-200mm 2.8L II, 82mm Circular Polarizer in case with Step-Up Ring, 3 Yongnuo Flashes in pouches, Rogue Grid and Gel kit, 2 Yongnuo 603C receivers, 1 Yongnuo 560TX trigger, 32 spare batteries (AA & AAA) in 8-pack hard cases, 3 spare batteries for the cameras, 2 Canon battery chargers and 1 Eneloop AA/AAA battery charger. It's a lot of stuff, and the case holds it beautifully.

I absolute love my trekpak insert for my 1510. You gain space in your case with this insert. but the shipping costs are to high. I know they are a small business but €105 to ship to the Netherlands. but that is way to high. And I didn't get any stickers with my shipment that I can put on my cases

I am now a believer and a fan. Yes, it is a bit more expensive than the foam dividers and pluck foam, but worth it. The system is so efficient with space that you gain space for more equipment. Which is very important for the 1510 case, where you only have a certain amount of room to work with. The dividers are rigid while soft enough to protect. And it looks sharp like a custom case!
My complaint (which is minor) is that this 1510 insert does not cover the wheel wells in the interior. I had to cut some scraps and double stick velcro them around the wheel humps to fully cover the interior. Not hard but another step.
And, for the price TrekPak, throw in one more divider and a few more pins.

The product does exactly what the peli insert should. It's a shame it isn't distributed in the UK so shipping is over £50 and then TrekPak don't include the import tax in that and don't tell you so you get slapped with massive import tax on top. Shame it ruins such a brilliant product

The product just served my purpose. I had tried various systems, including the foam inserts of course, but too much valuable space is lost. By the time I finished arranging and rearranging all I had left were about 5cm. of strips. I love how those pins work, but I was glad I had ordered an extra packet, I used them. I did not use the lid foam insert because I use Peli's own pocket insert, so why not make the lid foam insert an optional extra? It is not a question of cost, just trying to help save this world of ours from extinction. Every bit helps.

I like the concept of the product. However it is way overpriced for what you get. I want to outfit my one lowepro case. it would cost me well over $300 to outfit my case. I also don't like the idea that the larger roll comes in 2 pieces. It would be much better if the 72 inch role came as 1 piece.
For the 1510 pelican case. The insert would cost me the exact same price as the case. I would rather buy an extra pelican case.
I would like to be a believer in this product...however it is way to costly to convert my cases over.
